Hello, What a week I have had.
I have had to take my sweet little puppy, Guinness, into the vet because he has been vomiting for a week and a half. He does have a very sensitive stomach, and is on a special diet. After a bout of medications he is still vomiting and not getting much of the meds. So today he went in for a xray and then on to a 3 hr barium xray. The results are not the best, this guy ate something and it is stuck in his stomach with who know what else. So say a little prayer for this guy he is headed into surgery on Thursday, to have it removed. I have know idea what it could be, we watch him like a hawk, but puppies are puppies and somehow he ate something that he should not have.
Here he is with my son.
Thanks for listening, I am just devastated, but on the other hand maybe it will solve all of his stomach issues.
On to my card, I made a card today with one of the newer images from Doodle Pantry called Decadent desserts. I picked the banana split image and the saying "your so sweet".
I used a sketch from Woodware USA sketch challenge # 24.
My colors are from The Outlawz April 26th color challenge, Magenta, Celery green and pale yellow.
Thanks for stopping by today and listening about my little Guinness.

Oh no, Heide ~ poor Guinness (well, and poor you)! I'm so sorry, but hopefully this will be the end of the tummy troubles. Keeping a good thought for your little guy tomorrow <3.
Fabulous card! I love that image, too cute :)
First off, love Guiness' name! How cute! Next, your card is absolutely adorable! I have not used that set yet, but need to! Now, back to poor, sweet Guiness - how miserable he must be! Hopefully the surgery will take care of whatever he's eaten. I will send up some puppy prayers. Please keep us posted! Hugs...
Gosh, I am also sending up puppy prayers and hoping surgery goes well. Your card is fabulous, Kathy. Yummy colors and coloring!
Oh, poor Guiness! Hope the surgery helps solve his stomach issues! My dog has stomach problems too - he had to go to the vet and get some treatment for a blockage awhile back, and we still don't know what blocked it! You never know what the dogs find to taste I guess. :) Your card is so cute! That's a fun set. I love how you made the cherries shiny!! :) Thanks for sharing!
Oh no Guinness!!! Guinness, have you and Max been collaborating behind our backs?? Max got into the Easter candy the other night and boy what a MESS! Heide I will be praying that all goes well. Keep the faith. {{{HUGS}}}
Your card looks good enough to eat!
What a great card Heide! Just perfect!
I'm so sorry about your pup, I hope he will be better than ever soon. They are like our kids. I love the photo of he and your son.
Your card is just fabulous too!
Hugs & prayers
Hi Heide, how cute is that card. It was a good cheer up after hearing about your puppy. I'm sure he will do just great after surgery. You are right who knows what he got into. That might be really interesting to find out. =) Keep your chin up I'm sure everything will work out great!
Hugs, Sarah
Very pretty card Heide and sorry to hear your puppy is not well; wishing you good luck with the surgery.
Heide, he is the cutest thing ever. Within the last three years I've lost two (they were OLD don't get paranoid) and I know how attached you can get. They are so important in our lives. NO ONE no matter how much you love them loves you back so unconditionally as a dog. I'm sure your little sweetie is strong and will be fine!! Our Golden Retriever once ate 15" of aluminum foil off the grill and passed it without incident so they are a strong species! I'll be thinking about him. (boy, he really is cute!) Please keep me posted. Animals are near and dear to my heart! I've been called a sucker, a sap etc. but I don't care... look at those eyes!
Oh Heide - poor Guiness and poor you! I'm so sorry you're going through this. Guiness should have eaten this adorable card! After all it does look good enough to eat. Just fabulous Heide - the coloring is amazing. I'll be thinking of you and that sweet pup.
Big hugs,
Sharon :)
Shoot! I forgot! That's my mom's dog's name. When my step-dad passed away 5 years ago my two aunts bought my mom a dog. She named him Guinness after his favorite beer. (he was buried with a bottle of it courtesy of my husband!)
Poor pooch. I know that surgery to get that blasted mystery out of his tummy will solve all the problems. Sorry you have to go through it tho- I know it's scary for you.
Great card and just the treat to keep your mind off the pooch's woes...
Thanks for playing in the WoodwareUSA challenge this week!
Good luck!
Kerry
Prayers are being said for your puppy!
