Here in Michigan we are under a deep freeze. Last night it went down to - 17 degrees F. With a even lower wind chill. My heater has not stopped heating the house, it has been running constantly, I do not even want to see my heating bill, Yikes! This is also day 5 of no School! The kids need to go back to school they are board.

I loved The Book Thief btw. I read read Mudbound over the summer but had never heard of the Kitchen House so I chucked it on my Good Reads "to read" list. Thanks for the suggestion. Are you on Good Reads? Sounds like we have similar reading tastes. I'm currently reading The Monuments Men in anticipation of the movie. It's good so far.
