It is Harvest time!

Hello and happy weekend to you all!
Today's card is for our challenge at SCH.  We were to use the Lord of the Harvest tag. This is a lovely swirly image with a saying and some pumpkins.  When I saw this image the first thing that came into my head was harvest...farming, farming...rustic. So I used some rustic looking papers and paper pieced the pumpkins and the tag . I tried o use a different paper for the letters and I just could not cut them all out. So I brought out my copics and colored the letters.
I used glitter on all the swirly images and even on the pumpkins. Don't forget the check out the rest of the teams cards, they are all fantastic! Every one is listed on my side bar. Next month we get to show you the new Christmas and winter images. I'm  so very excited!
On a happy note, keep your fingers crossed we might have a new furry family member next week! I am hoping and praying that everything works out well.  It has been way to quite at my house and I hate it.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Sugar Creek Hollow & MMSC71

It is week three for the girls at Sugar Creek Hollow. I have been having so much fun with the challenges from SCH,  these girls are super talented and I love seeing what they have created with each challenge. This weeks challenge was challenging for me, We were to use the colors, black, riding hood red and vanilla. I have discovered I have a very hard time with color challenges. I went through a lot of paper this week because nothing was working for me, I even called my friend Sharon to help. Thanks for talking me down Sharon!  Here is my creation:
I do love how this turned out and think it is a great card but, you didn't have to deal with me all week! I was in a little panic! LOL!  I also wanted to use Priscilla's Midnight Madness sketch. So this is my interpretation of sketch 71. The image is SCH's Henry David quote #2. and for the flower I used pages from an old book .
I  got to peek at the new Sugar Creek Hollow Christmas images!!  We are going to have to wait a few weeks but, I think it will be worth the wait!

Don't forget to check out the other talented ladies on the team.

Sweet peas-MMSC70

Hello! What a beautiful fall day we have here in Michigan. It is sunny and cool enough to open up windows and air out the house.  Yesterday was such a busy day my daughter had 3 soccer games and the first one was the 8am....which means I had to get up at 6am on a Saturday....to be able to be at the field 30 minutes  before the game.  It's a good thing I really like soccer!
This is the last day of  Summer for me.  I go back to work on Monday!  The first few weeks are going to be crazy. I hope I am not too tired I would still like to be able to stamp!
So on to my card, This is another card for Midnight Madness sketch 70. I am excited to say.....I was the weekly bonus winner for MMSC69! I could not believe it,  when I saw it, I had to  read it about 3 times! Here is a sketch for this weeks challenge, I picked the simpler sketch.

Here is my card for the challenge:
The stamp set is a Flourishes set  called Sweet peas. This is such a stunning set and Sweet peas are one of my favorite flowers to see on the highways around Michigan. They are growing wild.
That is all for today, thanks for stopping by, I will be back ASAP!

I decided to use this image called   baby Jacks from Sugar Creek Hollow.  I just love this image, the baby jacks are very cute but,  also fun to color! There are a lot of new images over at the store which you should go check out, digis are fun and easy to use. Tracy also has some vintage gift for sale.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the design team and see what they have created for this weeks hop, I am sure they will amaze you! Thanks for stopping by!

Butterflies

This card is for a few challenges.  I am big tea pot Tuesday fan and I have not participated in a while. I also tried to do the SCS color challenge (CC287) and the MOJO  Monday( 155) sketch challenge. I not 100% happy the way this turned out, think it was the colors, they are not ones I would ever put together. You can read about the teapot Destination station here. It helps give little pick me ups to SCS 's.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Then, make sure to visit the store to purchase any of these great digis. We even have some Vintage gift ideas you can purchase.
I was so excited, I made two cards using the digi images. The first is made with the swirl tree, I thought it need to be on display with the big old harvest moon shining behind.

For Sharon--MMSC 69

This card is for my friend Sharon , she had her Birthday yesterday.  I didn't want to post this until I gave her, her card.  This is also for Midnight Madness sketch 69. Over at Midnight madness Priscilla and her great group of girls are so very friendly and give you such a big welcome. I just love the sketches and think her sketches are so much fun to do. For this one I used a Flourish set and this brocade paper is by Upasairs Downstairs called Master. The one side is the brocade and the other is the checkered. I think the pink flowers just pop with the added pink paper.
Happy Birthday my Friend Sharon!
Thanks for stopping by today.
