A tisket-a-tasket I've got flowers in my basket!

Hello Bloggers!
Wow..........this is my third post this week! I am on a roll!
I have been off work this week so I have been making time for the challenges over at SCS, it has been fun!  I find doing the challenges gets my creative juices flowing.
This card is for the sketch challenge. I am not used to adding all the layers to my cards. The sketch shows a card stock panel where my ribbon is.  I didn't like the extra panel so I put the ribbon there.
The beautiful flowers are from Penny Black and colored with copics
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Home tweet home

Hello!
Today's card is for the color challenge over at SCS.  I was not a big fan of the three colors, Bermuda bay , Gray and  So saffron. There is just a small smidgen of gray under the ribbon.  I do however LOVE this digital image from Mo's digital pencil!!!  So I made the image the show case of this card. The Ribbon is from my sweet Su demonstrator, Thanks Emma!! When the colors came out she was so kind and gave each of her club girls  a length of the in colors. Emma, your the best!  Let me know what you think of this card. Thanks for stopping by!

Roomie Gift

This was a gift for my roomie at the mingle.
Susie was so sweet! I had met her once at my friend Emma's house but that day I had met about 20 girls. I had to say I didn't remember meeting her.  I am so glad she was my roommate! What a sweet kind person. This was my gift for her, I was on  a roll with this stamp set.  I found the picture frame at Michaels.  It is a 4X4" picture frame. The stamp set used was the two step Greenhouse Garden by SU. It was very pretty in person. The colors look faded, that is because the black lettering is on velum paper.

Mingle day!!

This is a post for my swap card at the MI mingle.
I am so very excited, this is my first year and all the girls sound so nice and have been so welcoming to me. Looking forward to some fun!
This is my card for the swap. I used the SU set Greenhouse garden. This is such a beautiful set. For inks I used the tone on tone colors. For the only blue flower the first stamp I stamped off, than for the second step I used the ink full strength. as you can see after making so many cards I forgot to stamp off on the one pink flower on the left. LOL!! That is what makes it "SPECIAL" ! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

It's hump day!
I am such a happy camper today, my boss called and asked me if I wanted to take tomorrow off! Of course I said yes! I have been working on swap cards for a while and making gifts and door prizes because,   I am headed to the Michigan mingle on Friday.  I am so excited and nervous! This will be my first mingle they sound so much fun!
This is my card for today, very simple and not much stamping for the sketch challenge over at SCS.  Since they moved their server  is acting up and my card didn't go into the challenge gallery, I am hoping it will find its way soon. Thanks for stopping by !

You can read about the challenges here. This was a quick easy card, I embossed the green, pink and blue squares and stamped the printed ones. Put it all together and here it is! Birthday card for Mom

Happy Sunday bloggers!

This card is for my dear mother-in- law.
Her Birthday is in a few days I don't have to worry about her seeing this because they don't have a computer any more. This card was for the featured stamper on SCS.  I have been using the set so much, it is Greenhouse garden by SU.  I am going to the mingle in MI in a few weeks and this is the set I have used for my swaps and a gift for my room mate and now for my mother in law. It is a great set and I love how the flowers turn out with the tone on tone colors.  It is a two step stamp and the first stamp is stamped off so the color wasn't so dark and the second stamp is full strength.  Let me know what you think.
Thanks for stopping by!
