Hoot yourself a Merry little Chrismas.

Can you believe only 20 more day until Christmas! I have done NO shopping and have no idea when I am going or what I am getting. I starting to panic a little. I do not want to be at the mall the days before Christmas. My tree is up and lights on it(1200 lights) and on Tuesday one strand of lights went out and the whole tree went dark.....GRRRRR! Some time this week I also want to finish decorating the house.  SO much to do and so little time.

Happy Wednesday to you all. This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday we have a great sponsor for you, Meljen. Here is a little something about Melissa the owner of Meljen's.

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical rubber and digital images inspired by her kids and family. Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog, and freebies and promos now and then on our facebook FAN PAGE! Here is this weeks sketch. Wonderful open space.

Here is my card with this weeks sketch. I have used the darling image called Cozy winter owl.  My papers are from SU and for this card I used Flower soft on the snow and stickles on his cute hat and on the snowflake more sparkle...with Diamond dust.
Hope you find some time to check out the Sweet Sketch Wednesdays an see the rest of the DT's cards.

This little owl is so darn cute! You always make the best snowflake embellishments! I feel your panic about being behind in everything. My tree is up with lights only and it doesn't look like the decorations will go on it until this weekend! And not one gift procured yet either - yikes! Hope you make some progress this week. Have a good one!
Hugs,
Sharon

I got my tree up but that is as far as I have gotten....no trimming on it yet. I keep saying next weekend and something always comes up that I am too busy to do it. I love your card this week. Your owl is adorable. The border trim behind the ribbon is really cool. I love that big snowflake too. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.
Hugs, Nancy

The holidays certainly have a way of raising the stress level in our lives, don't they!!! I went minimal with the decorations this year but, like you, have done no shopping. I haven't even baked any cookies yet!! And they end up being gifts I pass out each year so better get a move on. Such a darling card Heide. Love Mr. Owl so sparkly and cute. And what a gorgeous flower too. Have a great day.

I hear you on the panic - only 20 days is not nearly enough!! I am changing up our Christmas celebration a bit this year to keep the stress level down... My husband has to work on Christmas day, and my kids both have homes of their own, so that gives me a little freedom =) I actually bought a live tree at the grocery store of all places - keeping it simple and the focus on time together rather than gifts (of course there will still be some gifts...)... anyway, still lots to do!! Love, love, love your card - the owl is awesome and I love your DP and embellishments!!
Praying you will find moments of Peace!!
Blessings to you Heide!!

Oh Heide I so know how you feel, I have our tree up that's a mission and a half a hole 10 foot and then I had to put the lights on and decorate it all by myself this year. It took me all day to do the tree and decorate the house. I have a few gifts bought but have know idea for a couple of people. The boys finish school next Wednesday for 6 weeks and it's our Wedding Anniversary next Wednesday on 12-12-12 that will only happen once in a life time. I can't wait for the 26th LOL. I love your card this Owl is so darn cute and he looks so happy sitting on that branch of the tree I wish I could join him !!! Love your colours and embellishments. Such a lovely card. Take care and don't stress to much.
