Sugar Creek Hollow Christmas Cardinal and MMSC76

Hello Bloggers Happy Saturday to you! For today's card I used the beautiful SCH  digi Christmas Cardinal.
Looks just like the  regal Cardinals I get in my backyard in the winter. One of my Favorite birds they just pop against the winter snow.
For this card I used the Christmas cardinal and the paper is SU.  For the brown piece of paper I used an embossing folder and than used a sanding block to knock off some of the color.  The snowflakes are punched and than I used lots of "fairy dust" to cover them in sparkle, I also added a  touch to the stump of the tree that the cardinal is sitting on to make it look like snow.  I found this beautiful velvet ribbon that I added to the top of the lace to add a vintage feel.
Thanks for looking! Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT we had a choice between two images and I think it is fun to see what everyone else did.

These are such stunning colors together Heide! The blue panel behind the cardinal really makes the image pop - and of course all the sparkly delights help too! This is so gorgeous with that embossed panel - really frames the main image panel and adds that vintage flair. I can't stop staring at this!
