Sweet Little Sophie

Yea... It's Wednesday!
I like Wednesdays because it has become the one night that the whole family is home and we can all have dinner together and just relax. Our lives have been so busy this winter some days I don't know if I am coming or going so it is the small thing I look forward to.
On to my card for Sweet Sketch Wednesdays Sketch #141,  this week Our Fabulous sponsor is Sally Ann from Digi Stamp Boutique. Sally Ann has such fun images ...stop on over at her site and see the cute new releases for February they are soooo cute!
This weeks winner will win 6 FREE digis from Sally Ann's store.
Here is the sketch for this week:
Here is my card that I made with the sketch using the sweet image from Digi Stamp Boutique called Sophie.
I paper pieced her dress and the ribbons in her hair. My papers are from Shery K designs- Robots. Looking forward to seeing what you make with the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesdays

Great card Heide! Super job with the paper piecing on her dress. This image reminds me of Mia in a way - something about the pose I think. Love your papers and the color combination it brought in. Terrific job. Have a wonderful week ahead!

I am glad you have a day that your family can sit together and have dinner. That is so important. It is nice to be able to relax and enjoy each other. I am glad you finally have one of those days. I love the paper piecing you have used on your card. It is the perfect touch with your other design papers. Darling card. Have a wonderful week.

Oh Heide I do love your little Sophie she's just so sweet and I adore your paper piecing this is the most perfect image to paper piece. So glad Wednesday night is special in your home it's so important to have family time especially dinner together. Before the boys went to boarding school, I would make sure that we all sat down at the dinning table every night for dinner with the television off. We were lucky enough that all their sports practices were over and done by 6.30 - 7pm at the latest. It's amazing I could ask the boys how their day went after school and I would get fine and it wasn't until we were at the dinner table that evening that everything came out and they opened up to what happened that day. Special time with our families. Take care and have a wonderful week.
