Sensational Embossing Saturday with SCH.

Good Morning To you.
Today I have a bit of information to share with you before I show you my card.
First the sad news - Tracy has decided to close the Sugar Creek Hollow store effective today and she has put a little note for her followers on the store site, which you can read by clicking here.
But now the good news - we will be keeping the Vintage challenge blog open and will be coming back next week with some exciting vintage challenges.
So on to this weeks challenge, Embossing. Either wet or dry.
I decided to use the image lady's Frock which I printed out three times on 3 different papers. and paper pieced.

The larger square of flower paper is embossed with the Swiss dot folder then sanded. The  two strips have been embossed with the lattice folder. I used a sketch from Paper Take Weekly #55.  I hope you can come join in after you check out the rest of the design teams, last work with SCH.
Thank you for stopping by and I do hope to see you soon on the Challenge blog!

 * Guinness update. Guinness is home and you would never know that he has had some major surgery. He is as  happy and wiggly as ever! He is even eating and it is staying down, we are both very happy about that!  Poor guy is so very hungry. I am so glad he is home and so far doing well.

Heide this card is gorgeous. If Kate Middleton saw that dress I'm sure she'd pick it to wear because it's stunning paper-pieced like that. All the elements are terrific and the colors are wonderful together too.
Hugs,
Sharon :)

Morning Heide!
Love your paper piecing masterpiece! The dotted swiss emboss is wonderful sanded, I could see the effect when zooming in on your card! Subtle but quite beautiful! This design really shows off this beautiful image, way to go girl! Gorgeous as always!!
So glad to hear that Guinness is doing well and is in loving and caring hands! That picture you have posted of him with your handsome son is totally priceless! Best wishes for a full recovery!! A little scratch behind the ears from me would be appreciated!

Absolutely gorgeous. I love how you paper pieced with two papers and what fabulous papers they are. The floral is so perfect for this frock and reminds me of some gowns we saw at the museum last weekend. Also love the addition of the lace.

Glad to hear the dog is coming along so nicely - you must be relieved.

Hugs!
Cec
