Another Day off School!

Oh my goodness, we have another day off school due to the weather. We had ice rain this AM and the buses were not able to get out so School was canceled.  I ended up staying home today too, my husband called and said it was very bad out there, and wanted me to stay home. So I did! What a nice guy!!
I headed off to my craft room and decided I wanted to make a project for Stamp Fairy  challenge.  This week was to make anything but a card. My daughter is Mia and She has fallen in love with the images from Stamp Fairy. So I took a letter from her name that she had in her room  and gussied it up for her,  so she will always have the images in her room.
The M started out as just plain white and I added the striped paper, because she has a blue room and then the two images.
Here is a close up of Lenny. He is so cute! I added some sparkle to his wings. Now someone wants to make some cookies, so I am off to the kitchen to make chocolate chip cookies, Yum!

Here is the finished project, Mia finished the I and the A all by herself. I have a crafter on my hands!!

Hi Heide, sorry to hear about your bad weather, it's so hard on the children not being able to go to school, they miss their friends after a while. Love your letter blinged up it looks so pretty with
Lenny on it and it's so nice to see it's not all pink. I do love those shades.
Great idea,
Hugs

Hi Heide - What a wonderful project! I love that you created something so different and so fun. I'm sure Mia will be so excited to have this wonderful 'altered' M for her Room.

You are very creative and I am so happy you took part in the StampFairy challenges with this great project.
