Seasons Greetings

Hello!
Today's card is for Sugar Creek Hollow, we were to use a sketch. I really like how this turned out. I used a new image called Postage stamp it is a very pretty digital image it reminds me of the movie A Christmas Carol. You know the movie with Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the Ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
Here is the sketch:

It is a great sketch!  I had fun with this sketch!
I used my new paper from Basic Grey Jovial Paper pad. The Digi image has a lot more to it I just wanted it to fit in a circle so I only used the light and saying. Be sure to check out the new Christmas digi releases at Sugar Creek Hollow.  There may even be some Freebies!!! Let me know what you think and be sure to check out the rest of ultra talented design team.

This is such a pretty vintage looking card. You've really shown how versatile these digi stamps are by turning a postage stamp into a circle for this sketch. I love the plaid paper and buttons!

Love, love, love how you colored the lamp....so very pretty and then your use of the punches and your papers makes for a perfect creation!

This is lovely Heide! I too love the papers and stitching and buttons. But two other things are genious here: The offset of the scallop circle to the image adds perfect balance to this and is a creative touch. And the coloring of the image - I can see the faint glow of the lamp you've created in sponging and I think that is the kind of detail that make you an artist, not just a pretty card maker!
Fabulous!

Heide, first, let me say that I know you have had a difficult week and that you have my prayers. Second, to turn out a card like this the very week your husband had a heart attack....well....I am highly impressed. This is one of your TOP card creations in my book. I love the traditional colors and patterns you have used to showcase this image. Well done. Let me know if you need anything at all!

This is a fabulous card and reminds me of an Edwardian Christmas. The papers are terrific and I love how the shining light makes a focal point.

What a great card! I love the vintage feel it gives and reading your reference to "A Christmas Carol", this is a perfect card for that era. Super card! Best, Curt
